Where Does Your Data Go?

Compliance Belongs in the Box

Decision Intelligence at the Edge for GDPR, NIS2, the EU AI Act and the Cyber Resilience Act.

The Three Questions

Europe's new rules all ask the same three questions, but the default makes them harder to answer: stream raw data off the asset, copy it to the cloud, keep it just in case. Every hop is another copy to govern, another link to secure, another line in the audit.
Where does your data go? Who touched it? Can you prove it?
Decision Intelligence at the Edge takes a shorter route. The decision is made where the data is created. Only the result leaves, and only when someone asks for it. Compliance isn't automatic, but much of the problem is gone before the paperwork starts.

GDPR & DATA ACT

LESS DATA IN MOTION.

Nothing leaves the device by default. Role-based access rules decide what a query may return: summaries yes, raw data no. Every egress is traceable. Sharing between parties is decided on the asset, by configuration, not re-architecture.

NIS2

A SMALLER BLAST RADIUS.

Every device has its own certificate and token, both revocable centrally. A compromised node is cut off without halting the fleet. Function-level access control decides who deploys what, where. Security-relevant actions are logged for your SIEM. When the network goes down, devices keep deciding.

EU AI ACT

TRACEABLE BY CONSTRUCTION.

Every model ships as a signed, versioned release. The fleet record shows what each device is actually running. Rollback means re-assigning the previous version, not launching a firmware project. Models are released by people, under governance, never by an unattended loop.

THE CLOCK

THE CLOCK IS RUNNING.

11 Sep 2026
Reporting of actively exploited vulnerabilities applies, including products already on the market.

11 Dec 2027
Full requirements and CE marking follow. Every software component counts, including the AI.

OUR PART

FIRMWARE IS NO LONGER THE RISK.

Stream Analyze provides an SBOM with every release, monitors dependencies for known vulnerabilities, and puts every change through code review and automated quality gates. Analytics update in the field as signed data, and the firmware stays untouched.

Compliance as Architecture

Security and compliance are outcomes, not overhead. Do you want compliance simply reflected in more paperwork, or compliance as a validated architecture? The thinking belongs in the box. So does the proof.

See the recent Analyst perspective from ABI Research on our Zero-Trust proposition.

Proven in the Field

Architecture is easy to claim on paper. Here it is running where the network can't help, and where an auditor would want to look first.

Volvo Group - VCE

CONSTRUCTION

Construction sites are chaotic, even connectivity is compromised by signal deflection via obstructions, so the cloud is not guaranteed. Yet, the models ran on the vehicles and flagged gearbox failure 10–12 hours ahead.

Results streamed to VCE over MQTT.

Compliance angle:
data captured between periods of cloud connectivity is not compromised.

HMS Networks

INDUSTRIAL NETWORKS

Industrial networks carry the traffic that keeps plants running. They are also the attack surface NIS2 cares about. Unsupervised anomaly detection runs on a low-power gateway already in the field.

No labeled data to collect first. No raw traffic shipped off-site to be analyzed.

Compliance angle:
the decision stays on the device, and only the result leaves.
